A flat in King’s Terrace, adjoining the Convent property, is rented to accommodate the steady increase in classes and enrolment.
The property on Waterloo Road is acquired with the help of His Excellency Bishop Valtorta and Rev. Giovanni Spada. The School moves to Torres Building at 2 Kimberley Road.
The first uniform of Maryknoll is adopted.

Hong Kong Governor, Sir Andrew Caldecott, lays the cornerstone of the new building in Kowloon Tong. MCS becomes a Grant-in-Aid School.
The School sees its first student enter the University of Hong Kong.
MCS moves to a new building at the intersection of Waterloo Road and Boundary Street.
The School sends off its first matriculation class after the move to Kowloon Tong.
