With a deep sense of pride and joy I exclaim my heartfelt congratulations to the grand dame, my alma mater, on your 100th birthday!

It is my honor to have traversed by your side for close to sixty years. First you shaped me and nurtured me, then you called on me with the opportunity to serve and give back.

I have therefore had the privilege to witness firsthand the dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment of our teachers, staff and alumni in upholding the legacy of love, excellence and the values that define you.

Reflecting on my own journey over the decades since graduation, serving at the Former Students Association, helping to found the new school sponsoring body, establishing a mentorship program linking up alumni and students, setting up the IMCs and serving as school supervisor, I realize these are all yet more instances of my alma mater educating and nurturing me. For this I am deeply humbled and grateful.

I pledge to always answer your call and be present at your beckoning. Together with all those who had passed through your gates over the century, we will Forever Be True!

Like a thriving tree, our school's roots run deep, firmly grounded in faith and our school motto, Sola Nobilitas Virtus. From its humble beginnings with 12 students, our beloved school has grown and flourished. One hundred years later, thousands of Maryknollers have spread across the globe, achieving, contributing and serving to the best of their abilities.

The wide variety of centenary events, thoughtfully planned by countless volunteers, will bring together Maryknollers from around the world to celebrate our heritage, rekindle our bond, and showcase the essence and spirit of the Maryknoll education.
